3/29/2023 0 Comments Iope air sushio xp review reddit![]() Its rubycell technology is also antimicrobial which inhibits the growth of mould and bacteria so its much safer for your skin to be dipping back in and out of the cushion. The puff doesn’t absorb too much product so its not going to waste. I know some people prefer using brushes and beauty blenders to apply cushion foundations but really, the best way should be with a rubycell puff that is provided because its made in a way to ensure it picks up just the right amount of product for an even application. (I’ve already covered the product claims, ingredients and the different finishes available in my previous post so I won’t cover it again here because it’s all the same, but you can check it out in that post if you’re interested.) I also thought the former in shade 21 was a bit light so I opted for the darker shade this time in no.23 matte beige. I loved how it looked on the skin but wasn’t too keen on just how dewy and tacky the finish was so I was keen to try the matte version. I previously reviewed the IOPE Air Cushion XP Cover version which has the same finish as the natural version, but with a bit more coverage. They are still selling the (now) old versions however, so I’m going to continue with this review as it will be a good reference point when comparing with the newer cushion formulation. The cushion comes with a cute case with one cushion + sponge already contained inside, a refill air cushion + sponge is also included, and a small instruction pamphlet.I figure it was time to get my butt into gear with this IOPE Air Cushion XP Matte Finish review because IOPE have recently released their upgraded, 4th generation air cushion in 2016 and I plan to pick up 2 of the 4 versions during my trip to Seoul this August. Since I do not have any idea which shade is good for me, I ask the seller, I just told them that I do not want to look so white, so they gave me the shade I23 (Intense Cover 23, Beige). I’m still on treatment so maybe after, stay tuned! I’ll probably make a review of the products that works for treating PIH. Even after a year, I still have some left. Even though I don’t have a sensitive skin, its better safe than sorry, right?Ī little background on my skin condition, exactly a year ago, I experience break outs (a lot for me to handle haha), maybe because of lack of sleep or maybe because I’m getting old lol, anyways, these break outs are not that difficult to remove, went to a specialist as well but it’s the PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation) that is difficult to treat. ![]() The reason for this was, I’m a bit afraid to try and experiment as it might cause skin break outs. I don’t normally wear any type of foundation (except if I have a meeting or attending some events). ![]() In short, it’s a bb/cc cream in a compact with a sponge applicator for even application, which means no more brush, no sticky fingers, no more caps to open. This major innovation combines the functions of both makeup and UV protection simultaneously through the inventive product design, which is use to use and simplifies the makeup process. ![]() There’s a lot of hype for this product even after now.Īnd the brand that started this cushion trend was IOPE.Īccording to their site () IOPE Air Cushion is a cushion-type foundation with sun protection and the first of its kind in the market. If you ever watched a Korean drama, then, most probably in one of those episodes, the heroine tends to use this kind of product (think of Cheong Song Yi in Love From Another Star). Hi, I’m back once again for another product review, this time it’s about IOPE Air Cushion XP.
